About the Author

Dr. V. A Manga, M.Sc., Ph.D., is retired Associate Professor, Bhavan's New Science College, Hyderabad (Telangana State), M.Sc., (Osmania University), Ph.D., (Hyderabad Central University), Post doctoral research (Tulane University, New Orleans, USA), recipient of A.P. Akademi of Sciences 'Young Scientist' award and Government of Andhra Pradesh State 'Best Teacher' award.

 Bird photography is her passion. She is author of two books on birds, 'Birds of Greater Hyderabad, birdwatchers' delight' (2019) and One Tree, many Birds, the beautiful relationship between silent trees and chirpy birds' (2017).
